Asian total
Updated over 3 months ago

Asian Total - is a type of bet where the client predicts the total number of goals, points, or other scoring units in a match, with the possibility of a half win and half lose if the total falls within a specified range. It offers more flexibility compared to traditional total bets.

⭐ Asian total combines two totals at the same time. The bet amount is divided in half for each total inside and is calculated in accordance with the result of the match.

For example a bet on an Asian Total Over 1.75 contains two totals - Over 1.5 and Over 2. The same with bets on the Total Under.

📝 There are only four possible outcomes and results of Asian Total:

  • ✅ If both Totals won, the bet wins with the full odds.

Example: Real M – Atletico M, Total Under 6.75, result of the match - 2:2.
This Asian Total consists of two totals - Under 6.5 and Under 7, so by the result both of them won.

  • If both Totals lost, then the bet is a complete loss. Since odds of the lost bet = 0.

Example: Real M – Atletico M, Total Over 5.75, result of the match - 2:2.
This Asian Total consists of two totals - Over 5.5 and Over 6, so by the result both of them lost.

  • 📈 Half win - If one Total wins, and the second is returned (because if the value of the Total is the same as the goals scored, the bet is returned with multiplier 1), then the winnings are calculated using the formula - (Winning multiplier + Returned bet multiplier) divided by 2, thus obtaining the average odds. And multiply the average odds for the total bet amount - we receive a calculation for this bet.

Example: Real M – Atletico M, Total Over 3.75, result of the match - 3:1, odds 5.5, bet amount 100$.
This Asian Total consists of two totals - Over 3.5 and Over 4.

    Calculation: (5.5 (winning multiplier) + 1 (multiplier of the returned Total)) divided by 2 = 3.25 - average odds 3.25 X 100$ = 325$ final winnings.

  • 📉 Half lose - If one Total out of two is returned, and the second Total of the bet is lost, then the odds always equal to 0.5.

    Example: Real M – Atletico M, Total Under 0.75, score 1:0, odds 3, bet amount 100$.

This Asian Total consists of two totals - Under 1 and Under 0.5.

    Calculation: (1 (returned Total multiplier) + 0 (lost Total multiplier)) divided by 2 = 0.5 - average odds x 100$ = 50$.
