European Handicap
Updated over a week ago

European handicap is a type of bet in which the advantage of a team is determined in advance by the handicap offered. In a European handicap, unlike regular bets with a handicap, there are three possible outcomes (win by one of the teams or a draw).

Let’s imagine that the match ended in victory for the “Second Team” with a score of 1:3. Accordingly, the player who bets “handicap 2:0 + draw” will win. 🏆

📈 Features: In such a bet there is no probability of the bet being returned, which makes the odds on outsiders higher - this factor is often considered an advantage of the European handicap.

Examples of calculation of bets on the European Handicap:

  • Team A – Team B (draw) (1:0) – Match score 0:1 OT. - Lost. ❌

  • Team A – Team B (Win1) (0:2) – Match score 1:2 OT. - Lost. ❌

  • Team A – Team B (Win2) (1:0) – Match score 2: 3 OT. - Lost. ❌

  • Team A – Team B (draw) (1:0) – Match score 0:1. - I won. ✅

  • Team A – Team B (draw) (10:0) – Match score 10:19. - Lost. ❌

  • Team A – Team B (Draw) (0:2) – Score in the match 4: 2. – Won. ✅

  • Team A – Team B (Win1) (1:0) – Score in the match 3: 2. – Won. ✅

  • Team A – Team B (Win2) (1:0) – Score in the match 4: 3. – Lost. ❌
